In this, our glorious 32nd episode, we return after a weeks break to talk about mostly the same stuff. The Walking Dead episode 5 is discussed as well as video games, and lots of little news items that I found interesting last week. We're gonna try to be a bit more consistent and get a regular day to record...or maybe just not talk about current affairs so much so that we don't seem dated. Sorry.
Intro: Mos Def - Revelations
Intermision: Belle & Sebastian - Get Me Away From Here I'm Dying (3:25)
Outro: Robert Johnson - Kind Hearted Woman Blues

In this, our glorious 31st episode, we celebrate our one-year anniversary as podcasters and record for an unhealthy amount of time. We answer listener questions, cover our topics and drive over 150 miles and thats just in the first 2 hours. Topics discussed include Call of Duty: Black Ops, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows, 90's sitcoms, Nerd-rage, and Re-boot. There is also quite a lot of rambling. I apologize for the length. Also, that is still what she said.
CAUTION: There are numerous spoilers for Firefly and Serenity around the hour and 35 minute point. They are sporadic from that point on but you might want to watch those first if you're worried about it.
Intro: Sly & The Family Stone - Dance to the Music
Outro: The Smiths - Bigmouth Strikes Again

In this, our glorious 30th episode, we have a bit of an impromptu recording in which we ramble and laugh at our own hilarity quite a bit. There are a few inside jokes and a few visual cues involved but we stay strong for almost the full hour. I do apologize for our chilishness in this episode, but you can't really expect much else from us.
Intro: Yes - Roundabout
Outro: Soko - I'll Kill Her

In this, our glorious 29th episode we welcome our good friend Martin to the show. Much discussion is had in our extra-long episode that I can't quite remember, but it was good, trust me. We drive around a bit in the foothills and get DJ worried as well. Enjoy at your own risk.
Intro: Stevie Wonder - Sir Duke
Intermission: Broken Social Scene - Romance to the Grave (4:48)
Outro: Weezer - Perfect Situation

In this, our glorious 28th episode we return from a week of absence to talk about more of the same stuff. Zombies, Left 4 Dead (and the fact that zombies are the most curious animal known to man), House as the Jeff Goldblum of medicine, John C. Reilly's diminishing career, Linda Cardellini, the nature of bushels, "go fast juice" at gas stations, sex and penises, and accents. Enjoy at your own risk.
Intro: Parliament - Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)
Intermission: Queens of the Stone Age - Give the Mule What He Wants (3:09)
Outro: Brand New - Am I Wrong

In this, our glorious 27th episode we continue the conversation from 26 and sort of just ramble for an hour. In other words, this is some good entertainment. We talk of inventors, impressions, and older women that we are interested in lovin'. Enjoy at your own risk.
Intro: Nelly - Must Be The Money
Outro: David Bowie - Changes

In this, our glorious 26th episode we take a late night ride during an odd thunderstorm. I have no idea what we talked about but I know that near the end of the episode things got a bit racy, so I edited out anything that might get us bludgeoned with cricket bats or shovels in a very Shaun of the Dead manner. It sounds like we do a proper episode and end all nice and tidy but we went on to record another hour which will be coming forthwith, was soon as we think that its safe to do so.
Intro: Cake - Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town
Outro: Cee Lo Green - F**k You

In this, our 25th glorious episode we are welcomed (hopefully) to our new home on the internet, thewebsiteofdoom.com, and we celebrate in style...with Kasey slightly drunk, DJ missing due to poor scheduling, and the guest host stylings of our friends Dennis and Omar. Many things are discussed including the art of love and comic book men who are attractive. Due to poor continued poor planning, I have to close out the episode by myself for about 30 seconds. Enjoy at your own risk.
Intro: Miniature Tigers - Bullfighter Jacket
Intermission: Echo & The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon (3:09)
Outro: Nouvelle Vogue - Dancing With Myself

Riding in Cars With Boys has a new home on the interwebs. That home is The Website of Doom. Its a dandy entertainment site that is not only our new home, but the home to Hands Down the world famous webcomic, a brand new webcomic from Hands Down contributor J.K. Hulon entitled Sam Leigion, and the first in a series of articles by me. You should go check it out.
I'll still be updating the episodes on here for a while, at least until we figure everything out, but our updates are going to be happening there first from now on.

In this, our 24th episode, we take a late night ride to the movie theater to watch the midnight premiere of Resident Evil: Afterlife in 3D. On the way there we talk about guest hosting, the similarities between Wolverine's son and a member of the Sinister Six, the universal digital love filled language of music, and I share a revelation about my view on comics as a medium. After leaving the movie, things get slightly silly as we spend half an hour laughing about the various flaws and wonders of the "New Dimension of Evil". I, once again, forgot our contact information. Its ridingincars@gmail.com.
Intro: The Sword - The Chronomancer I: Hubris
Intermission: The Tastydactyls - Don't Carry Me Home (demo version) (3:50)
